Newark Castle

Port Glasgow’s Newark Castle has great reviews on Tripadviser – guests have free reign to explore all the castle’s many nooks and crannies.

The top of the tower also offers outstanding views of the River Clyde – second only to those here at Coast! For those interested in Port Glasgow’s shipbuilding history a replica of PS Comet – the first commercial passenger steamer in Europe – can be found in the town centre.
